004: Femmeininity: ...and adults in the eyes of children

We want to look into growing up, changes, femininity as wee sprouts to angry teens, firsts that you experienced like first crushes, first awakenings, growing up non-binary, and raising kids non-binary. With the second half we want to explore role models you may have had growing up and the impact they can have, how they can shape the expectations you carried when you were growing up, what you are told as a child about femininity and gender, how that changed as you grew, the transformations that one experiences growing from a child to an adult.

This is part of an exploration into our theme for ISSUE03 FEMMEININITY and unravelling the binary. We do not consider gender to be a binary concept and we are open to hearing from everyone on the topic of femme-ininity as we’ve been calling it to highlight that we are looking at the female experience, those who are female identifying and femme-ness in general.
